About
Mission: The primary function of the Wilson School District 7 Foundation is to strengthen and empower the greater Wilson Elementary School District community by offering opportunities that would otherwise go unfunded.
We do this by:

Honoring the community members' history and values.

Engaging with partners who support our community member’s health, food, school, and basic needs.

Providing the resources to enrich Wilson Elementary School District community members' lives.
Our partnership:
Responsibilities of Wilson Foundation Board Members & Wilson School District Advisors
- The Foundation Board will connect the Director of Community Engagement to potential donors, partners, funders.
- The Foundation Board will have a yearly fundraiser.
- The Foundation Board will follow laws required to protect the 501c3.
- The Foundation Board will create/maintain/and check against an annual budget.
- The Community Center will engage with partners/donors/funders and manage those relationships.
- The Community Center and the School District will plan school and community events.
- The Community Center and the School District will identify and communicate needs to the board.
- The Foundation Board, Community Center, and the School District will follow processes for requesting funds and getting reimbursements.
