Uniform Assistance
The Governing Board of the Wilson Elementary School District No. 7 has adopted Policy JFCA that includes mandatory uniforms for students. Please refer to the policy for details. We recognize that although the cost of uniforms is very reasonable, sometimes families have financial difficulties and need assistance even with the lower cost of uniforms. As JFCA indicates: “No student will be denied an education if they cannot afford a uniform.” In situations of economic need, the District will work with parents and student to resolve any family inability to purchase a student uniform.
If you feel you need assistance, please fill out the attached Application for SCHOOL UNIFORM ASSISTANCE and return to Mariana Melendrez at Community Center.
Funds are limited, as the District cannot use public funds for this assistance. All assistance will be from donations.
ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN ONE TIME (1) PER SCHOOL YEAR/PER STUDENT.
